We started by researching competitors and what they are doing on the web to attract customers. Industry practices are a great place to start.
Mobility Plus' well established logo is prominent on service vehicles, and therefore was placed prominently in the left upper corner of the website, where visitors expect to see it. Mobility Plus has a red, white and blue logo, although they did not necessarily want to make the site extremely bold, but instead make the logo stand out with more muted colors in the background.
High quality photos are important especially on the home page to appeal to potential customers and draw them into the site. We chose photos of happy clients in the target age range of Mobility Plus' customer base. A modern slider was included on the home page to incorporate a clean and simple design.
In order to showcase the products of the Mobility Plus business, the layout was chosen to display multiple photos in a gallery style on the home page, product page and individual product pages. Product descriptions were added to educate the visitor and prompt a call to action which leads to the contact page. The ultimate goal is for the site visitor to complete a contact form. Multiple opportunities are given on each page for the site visitor to get more information by clicking and filling out the contact form.
Content, headings, and photos were set up according to Search Engine Optimization standards in order to build and improve organic search ratings. This is done in the background and is not apparent to the website visitor, but a well constructed website is important for search engine visibility.
Mobility Plus now has a website with a modern simple design. The website prominently displays their well established logo, it also showcases their products, explains their services, and builds trust. Establishing this website has set up their business to appeal to potential customers and facilitate connections with those customers.
